Description

I visited the Statue of Liberty with a friend in the summer of 2001 and snapped this among other pictures of the statue. I have found that I'm not alone either. Other people I know also went to NYC that summer and snapped similar pics. With plans still in the works for the memorial, I thought it a good time to post this. For me it's just a reminder of a simpler time in New York.

A very beautiful tribute indeed. That view was one of the best angles to appreciate the harbor and statue and towers. Although plans are underway to rebuild on the WTC site, it won't be the same. :(

Beautiful photograph though. Nice work. ;)
